Local ministry background:
Tereza decided to follow Jesus Christ when she waschild. She confirmed her decision at the age of 18 by being baptized. Since her youth, she has been involved with children and young people within the church, in a leisure-time club, and in a community center. At the same time, she is involved in ministry among young leaders in the church.

Tereza is an established Healthy Youth worker in the non-profit Christian organization Ethics and Character Education, with which she has been working since 2022.

She offers programs from the seriesRespect for Life’, the certified programs of the non-profit Christian organization called Ethical and Character Education, which focus on problematic class collectives. These are the HY topics that are mainly devoted to relationships among children in the 1st to 5th grade of elementary school. In the 5th to 9th grades, topics such as addiction, the risks of cyberspace, and risky sexual behavior are added.

In the future, she would like to expand her current offer with additional programs on topics she feels close to.

In the follow-up activities, she works with young people in leisure clubs at the local community center. She also regularly organizes summer camps and suburban language camps.

More about programs

How she became a HY Worker:
Tereza has been working with children and youngsters since her youth. She has worked as a club leader for children and young people, as a worker in a low-threshold center, and as a leader of various leisure clubs in the local community center.

She feels that she has a gift for teaching and working with the young generation and that this work fulfills her. As she writes, “I see the importance of supporting and encouraging the young generation in everything that today’s difficult times bring them.”

In addition to ethical programs focused on right values, character building, and references to our national spiritual heritage, she also focuses on the typical HY programs. Her goal is to prevent risky behavior among children and young people, but also to show them the right way to behave and act. “I believe that school should also be a workshop of humanity, and I hope that by teaching ethical and prevention programs, I can influence and help guide young people’s lives in the right direction.”
