Local ministry background:
Denisa gave her life to Jesus Christ when she was 15 years old and has been walking with Him as faithfully as possible ever since. When she was 18, she visited a program taught by the Stuarts. Their ministry spoke greatly to her and the Lord called her to the youth ministry.

Denisa has been involved to the Healthy Youth ministry and the ministry with children and young people since the year 2000. She co-worked with couple different organizations. These days she works under the auspices of the non-profit Christian organization called Ethic and Character Education.

She mainly offers programs from the series ‘Respect for Life’, the certified programs of the non-profit Christian organization called Ethical and Character Education, which focus on problematic class collectives. These are the HY topics that are mainly devoted to relationships among children in the 1st to 5th grade of elementary school. In the 5th to 9th grades, topics such as addiction, the risks of cyberspace, and risky sexual behavior are added.

In her spare time, her husband and her are involved in running the Royal Rangers Scout Troop. She uses her time with the children on expeditions and camps especially to build good, deep and healthy relationships with them.

More about programs

How she became a HY Worker:
She considers her ministry in schools as ‘sowing’. She seeks to bring God’s wisdom and power, insight and a healthy view of the world to children and youngsters through the HY programs. She believes that in this way she can help them to direct their lives so that at life’s crossroads they decide to follow the right path.

Denisa says, “My whole life has been connected with serving and helping young people to grow and seek the right path on their life’s crossroads.”
