Local ministry background
Lubos grew up in a Christian family, but in his teens and early adulthood he began to drift away from it. After a very intense spiritual experience, he came to the conclusion that he wanted nothing else in his life but Jesus Christ. He found a church community in which he is actively involved.
Lubos says, “I want to see miracles that move mountains, and I want to see His glory move schools.”

He joined the Healthy Youth ministry in September 2023. He joined the lecturing service in September 2023. After training under the supervision of experienced colleagues in January 2024, he successfully passed the HY-workers’ exams and from February he started contacting schools in his area with the offer of HY programs from the Ethical Workshop series of the certified non-profit Christian organization Hope4kids. He has managed to overcome the rather challenging beginnings and establish cooperation with schools in his region.

After proper training, in September 2024, Lubos joined the ministry in the online counselling service. The counselling is intended for children and young people, especially those whom the HY workers meet in schools as part of their HY ministry.
Lubos is also involved in organizing summer camps for children and in preparing regular thematic meetings for youth.

Lubos sees his ministry as essential to imparting healthy values and attitudes to children and youth.

He says, “I want to continue to work on creating and strengthening personal relationships so that children have the opportunity to share their problems with me if they want to. I also realize how important my personal example is, especially in marriage and family life.”
