It is a great experience to accompany Michal Malina on his visit to an elementary school in Havirov where he has been giving lectures for several years.
“Hi, Michal.” – “Hello, Michal, how are you?”
He is being greeted by many students and teachers. One of the teachers passes Michal and gives him a friendly greeting.
“This is the director of our foundation that pays me,” says Michal introducing me.
“Just keep paying him, he’s a great guy,” tells the teacher briskly to me.
The session on relationships catered for two 8th grade classes. Michal is not hesitant about illustrating key ideas by telling his own life stories. He talks about hard times and crises he and his wife had to go through as a married couple and parents.
“These are the things lovers never go through together,” explains Michal. “And they can never start a family life built on solid foundations…”
He tells a story about a friend of his who confided in him that after many years of a promiscuous life he is unable to have a serious relationship. Now he is in danger of being unhappy and solitary. It is obvious that Michal draws all the listeners’ attention and the children willingly join the discussion and the group work. This is another lecture you would like your own children to hear.
Since Michal is an active member of an active local church, he can present to the students several follow-up offers and they take this guy seriously.
