The 11th batch of Annual Healthy Youth Workers Conference began with joy and cheerful expectation. The event is called “lectors spa” among the attendants as they receive refreshment, orientation and strengthening here for their valuable ministry in public schools. INCZ enjoys organizing this three-day meeting at the beginning of school year in nice environment of Immanuel centre and invites the partnering F-Foundation to participate on the program as well.
The Conference gives opportunity for 50 attendants to share about their specific work and to have fellowship. We choose three workers to present each topic and then half of time is spent in discussion. This time we focused on two major issues: 1. What is the vision of Christian School ministry and what impact we desire to make in lives of the kids. 2. “The nightmare class” – how should we work with troublemaking class? Both topics were excellently presented by the leading speaker and we spent valuable time.
The afternoon workshops created the opportunity to choose 2 from 4 offers of specific lectors’ skills or topics, including the new “spiritual inheritance” programs.
Since all the Healthy Youth Workers are front-line ministers, we finished this 2015 batch by seminar about the balancing the marriage and the ministry. We invited experienced pastor couple Dana and Rostislav Stanek who divided the group to men and women while the second half part. This was precious time to share about personal issues, especially in small groups at the end. Our Conference finished here on a traditional way: in prayers of the attendants for each other. We even could share about some extraordinary results from prayers in such groups last year. You can see few moments here in the video:
